WARLOCK (1989) Starring Julian Sands and Lori
Singer Steve Miner, who embarrassed
us all by making Friday the 13th parts 2 and 3, kicks ass
with this imitation of James Cameron's Terminator, which has two warriors time
traveling out of the past into our present to fight for the future of mankind. The "terminator" in
this story is Julian Sands, Satan's one and only son. Practitioners of the Wicca religion
must hate this movie because Warlocks are actually tree-hugging, peaceful hippie
typesnot antichrist murderers. Supposedly, that is. Great story, well-directed and
well-acted, this film spawned an unwatchable sequel.
Miner would go on to direct the fabulous "Halloween: H20." |
