LEATHERFACE: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3 (1990)

Totally dull and superfluous remake of the first film lacks all of the gritty realism and sheer terror of the original.
A couple traveling through Texas wind up battling a murderous outback clan of cannibals, one of whom wears human skin for a mask and kills victims with a chainsaw. It's fun to see Foree, star of "Dawn of the Dead" and "From Beyond," in another horror movie. He plays a survivalist who joins the couple in their battle with Leatherface. But it's not enough to save this dud, which was censored of all gore before its release. So many cuts were made that it's only 81 minutes long.
