SCANNERS II: THE NEW ORDER (1991)

Suck-ass sequel to the David Cronenberg cult classic has one of the most suspense-free, brainless screenplays I've ever had the tragic misfortune of witnessing. Truly lame movie, although it does have one or two exploding heads to momentarily hold your interest.
Director Duguary did go on to direct some good movies, however, including the excellent 1995 sci-fi thriller "Screamers" with Peter Weller. But before accomplishing that, he had to direct one other lame-ass Scanner movie, "Scanners III: The Takeover."
