SANTA CLAWS (1996)

A real waste of time from Russo, who co-wrote "Night of the Living Dead."
God-awful made-for-video psycho thriller, cheesily distributed as a special "erotic version" to video stores, even though it was the only version released. Kramer is a serial killer who murdered his mother and her lover as a boy and is now killing just about every beautiful woman he runs into. Rochon, a veteran of movies from the Troma exploitation factory, plays his gorgeous neighbor. There's lots of nudity, but the movie is so cheap, it all comes across as porno instead of anything remotely resembling a real movie.
It's a shame to see Russo directing and writing soft-porn crap like this. It's even scarier to think that he is the one behind the "special edition" of "Night" due to hit cinemas and video stores in 1999.
