PLAYROOM (1989)

McDonald plays an archaeologist whose childhood was marred by the murder of his entire family. The killings took place in a monastery where his own archaeologist dad was doing some excavating, searching for a mythical demon child that supposedly haunts the structure.
Naturally, he runs into the demon child (whom he only remembered as an "imaginary friend" from his childhood) and starts killing off members of his expedition one by one.
Decent acting and some OK special effects, when the demon child appears as a long-since decomposed mummy, don't save the film from an inept story and terrible dialogue. Pass.
