NIGHTSCARE (1993)

Directed by Vadim Jean

Starring Craig Fairbass and Elizabeth Hurley

Aside from the presence of ultra-babe Elizabeth Hurley writhing around in a silk nightie, there's not much to recommend in this belated "Nightmare on Elm Street" rip-off from Britain.

Hurley plays a super-gorgeous scientist who, despite the fact that she looks 18, works at the Institute for Neurological Research. She decides to test a new experimental mind drug on a notorious serial killer. In one hilarious scene, she's allowed to enter the cell alone with killer, while a fat woman brandishing a firearm watches on to make sure the killer (Keith Allen, attempting his best Anthony Hopkins situation) doesn't misbehave.
Well, the experimental drug enables the killer to enter the dreams of other people, or bring them into his dreams, or something like that. What we're fed is an hour or so of Elm Street-like shennanigans, but without the special effects. Mostly it involves characters seeing dead people from their pasts.

It's quite boring really. Thankfully, Hurley went on to bigger and better things, mainly "Austin Powers."
