HORROR HOSPITAL (1973)
Starring Michael Gough and Robin Askwith Really weak British horror film from the early '70s has a following among lovers of bad movies. A pop star heads to a country break for a break, not knowing that it's in fact a "horror hospital" where experiments are being committed on unsuspecting victims. Some sex scenes and the always-welcome presence of Michael Gough as the madman with a beheading device attached to his car (amazing that the device is the absolute perfect height to chop off someone's head every time) don't save this film, which seems like it might have been designed to star Vincent Price. |
