HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH (1983)
Starring Tom Atkins and Stacy Nelkin A "sequel" that wouldn't even be available today if it didn't have the name "Halloween" attached to it. John Carpenter, hoping to carry on the series without having to endlessly repeat the same story over and over again, cooked up this dream of annually releasing movies with a Halloween theme. This one is about a company that plans to launch the apocalypse by imbedding some kind of deadly device into its trio of new masks, known as the "Halloween three," which when triggered by a TV broadcast kill the kids and cause snakes and bugs to crawl out of 'em. Yeah, it's a stupid idea for a movie and Carpenter quickly sold the rights to the Halloween franchise. Followed by Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Myers. |
