After directing a string of forgettable mainstream movies after "The Exorcist," director Friedkin returned to the horror genre with what everyone hoped would be a kick-ass movie.
Naturally, the film sucked.
Hardly anyone even remembers this evil nanny movie. Seagrove is the wicked nanny who feeds babies to a possessed tree in the neighborhood (!). Of course she stirs some sexual tension with the father of the family she's staying with. Even a few nude scenes fail to spice things up.
