House of Psychotic Women (1972)
Directed by Carlos Aured

Starring Diana Lorys Eduardo Calvo Eva León Jacinto Molina Paul Naschy

A drifter (Naschy) shows up in a town looking for a job and finds one as a caretaker and all-around fix-it guy for a house of (you guessed it) psychotic women.

There are actually just four of them, all of them sisters and not very psychotic (although they do have that weird, early 1970s Euro-trash look to them—heavy make-up, long straight hair, goofy clothes). Meanwhile, a killer is on the loose, killing young women in the town and gouging their eyes out. All of the victims have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Could it be one of the sisters? Is it Naschy? After all, he does keep having visions of himself strangling a woman.

The truth is, you don't care, because this movie sucks major ass. Fans of Spanish schlock might get a kick out of some of the unintentional laughs, the goofy jazz soundtrack and a few gruesome murders.
