Breeders (1997)
Directed by Paul Matthews

Starring Kadamba Simmons Oliver Tobias Samantha Janus Todd Jensen

Schlocky, direct-to-video rip-off of "Species" has beautiful femalien in leather land on planet earth. Matthews took advantage of the cheap computer animation effects that are available today to feature some outer space flight scenes and some truly fake-looking explosions and fires that probably wouldn't have even been possible to put in a film with such a low budget just five years ago.

The best that can be said about this cheap and cheesy "Species" imitation is that it features more babes—in this case, the population of an all-girl school where the alien craft just happened to land. After an alien monster attacks a few school employees, police show up and the movie begins to resemble "Alien" more and more, with cops being picked off by a monster that landed with the Femalien.

Unfortunately, not even a whole army of topless girl's school students—or even a femalien in leather tights—can save this incredibly weak flick, which is even worse than the sequel to "Species." If you're looking for a real space babe masterpiece, skip this and go find "Lifeforce," Tobe Hooper's classic naked-alien-chick-on-the-loose thriller.
