A slow, big-budget asylum horror pic from Paramount Pictures has Ivanek as a new inmate at a mental institution who, in addition to suffering rom amnesia, turns out to be psychic, hence the title of the film.
Psychiatrist Harrold realizes the young man's power and is labeled a kook by her co-workers—until they attempt to use electro-shock therapy on the suicidal patient. He causes the entire asylum to go topsy turvy.
The film is slick and well-produced, but, despite a few cool dream sequences involving armies of rats, it's too slow and plodding to recommend. Pass.
