October 11, 2008 "Quarantine," a good horror flick that opened yesterday (read our review here) made $5.4 million Friday. That means it's top of the box office.

Variety reports:

Sony-Screen Gems’ horror thriller "Quarantine" distanced itself from a fresh batch of October wide entries earning $5.4 million Friday off 2,461 engagements.
