No word on whether it will make its way to Blu-Ray yet, but Alfred Hitchcock's original "Psycho" (review here) -- the grandfather of all modern horror movies -- is hitting DVD in a two-disc special edition loaded with special features. It's about time!

Here are the specs of the release, which will hit stores in time for Halloween: October 7. Universal, which is distributing it along with new special editions of "Vertigo" and "Rear Window," was late to join the Blu-Ray bandwagon so it isn't clear how long it will take for it finally to hit high-def.
