Variety reported that Ray Wright is writing a new draft of "The Crazies" remake for Rogue Pictures. Breck Eisner (Sahara) is directing. ... Variety also got a quote out of Wes Craven about the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake. He told them: "My baby has fallen into the hands of others, and what can I say but wish them luck."
