News about "Hellraiser", "Midnight Movie", "Vij"
The "Hellraiser" remake is now set for release January 9, 2009 from the Weinstein Bros. ... Variety reports that Robert Englund is directing a horror film entitled "The Vij," and Chrisopher Lee is attached to star. It will start shooting in April in Italy. (Englund, it should be noted, directed "976-Evil" back in 1988). ... Here's the trailer for "Midnight Movie," a 2008 horror film starring Rebekah Brandes and Mandell Maughan. It's about some kids, stalked by a maniac they were just watching in a horror film at the theater.
