January 8, 2008 The new project being developed by sami Raimi and Ghost House Pictures sounds an awful lot like Luigi Cozzi's "Alien Contamination." In that film, alien beings caused people to explode -- a pretty original concept at the time.

Well, according to ComingSoon.net/ShockTillYouDrop.com, Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures is looking for a director to the new sci-fi/horror movie "Burst." Here's the film's concept: "An isolated town endures an alien invasion that causes victims to spontaneously combust during a severe snowstorm."



Throw in some Alien eggs and an actor that looks like Ian McCulloch, and we've got "Alien Contamination 2008".
