Excellent DVD company Dark Sky films is releasing French horror film "Them" to DVD March 25. The film is from David Morequ and Xavier Palud, who are helming the Jessica Alba "Eye" remake. ... 20th Century Fox is remaking "Shutter," the Thai horror hit about strange shadows in photographs that may be tied to deaths. Sounds a little Omen-esque.

Daniel Pearl, who was the original cinematographer on 1974's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and the 2003 remake, not to mention "Alien vs. Predator: Requiem," is due to lens the "Friday the 13th" remake. ... Dominique Swain is replacing Felissa Rose on the cast of Dante Tomaselli's "The Ocean".
