Shout! Factory Unleashes More Slasher Classics to Blu-Ray

July 8, 2012 Shout! Factory is digging up the eighties slasher films in a big way, releasing the John Carpenter-produces sequel "Halloween III: Season of the Witch," along with "Terror Train," "The Funhouse", Peter Benchley's "The Island", Wes Craven's "Deadly Blessing" and moldy oldie "Death Valley" to Blu-Ray, beginning in September.

On September 18, the releases will start with both "Halloween III" and a new edition of "Halloween II" making their way to the high definition format. The other releases will presumably make their way to the Blu-ray in 2013.
