January 27, 2010 I know I wasn't too kind to "House of the Devil" in my review of the film, and maybe I was just in a bad mood when I saw. The movie definitely has its adherents -- and they should be thrilled to know the film is being released to the public on VHS on Feb. 2!



"House of the Devil" was designed to look and feel like a '70s or '80s horror film, so this promotion definitely feels right. If I owned a video store, I would certainly buy a copy and stick it with the other horror VHS titles in the back of the room. Click here for more on the forthcoming VHS release.
