Two items on the amazing horror filmmaker known as Wes Craven, who still needs to make up for "Cursed."
First up, "Scream 4." Last week, Craven twittered that he had "dinner with KW [Kevin Williamson] last night, and the script sounds fantastic!"
But then this week, he put water on rumors that he was slated to direct, announcing:
"In response to the rumors about me directing SCREAM 4, a deal has not yet been set, so stay tuned for accurate information."
Meanwhile, his upcoming horror film "25/8" is no longer going by that moniker. It is now called "My Soul to Take." And here's the synopsis:
A serial killer turns up 15 years after his purported death, to kill the In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer.
The film, which is now complete, stars Max Thieriot, Denzel Whitaker, Zena Grey and Nick Lashaway.
