August 2, 2009 Jon Knautz is the very talented director who helmed the excellent "Jack Brooks Monster Slayer" (read our exclusive interview with the director here. He's now set to helm "The Shrine," about a trio of journalists investigating a Polish Satanic cult that practices human sacrifice!

Doesn't sound like a horror comedy this time around. Check out the film's official Web site here. Filming is slated to begin August 10 in Toronto -- a long way off from Poland.
