The official schedule for the Edinburgh International Film Festival, where Dario Argento's "Giallo" is due to premiere, has been announced. "Giallo" will screen June 25 at the Film House 1 in Edinburgh.
A psychotic killer stalks the streets, kidnapping, torturing and murdering beautiful women. An enigmatic police inspector (Adrien Brody) works against the clock to find him, before the latest missing girl becomes his next disfigured victim. Harking back to his 70s cult classics (Suspiria, Deep Red, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage), director Dario Argento – acknowledged master of the genre – spins a dark, stylishly fractured web of fear, revolving around a fascinating central performance from Oscar®-winner Brody.
