March 13, 2009 It will be a case of a sequel vs. a remake-sequel on August 28. It has just been announced by Warner Bros. that they've moved the release of "Final Destination Death Trip 3D" to August 28 -- the same day that Rob Zombie's "H2" "Halloween II" remake is set to be released.

Obviously Warner Bros. believes in their 3D sequel. We'll see if the Weinstein Bros. have the guts to stay the course and pit their franchise against New Line's, head to head, mano y mano. Or whatever.
