'Piranha 3D' Pushed to 2010    Share

January 28, 2009 The most hotly anticipated 3D horror film of the new millennium is being pushed out to next year.

Alex Aja's remake of Joe Dante's now classic 1978 campfest promises 3D boobs and tons of over-the-top gore. But due to weather and preparation, the film won't hit theaters until March 19, 2010, the date that has been officially confirmed by Dimension.

Shooting won't begin until the Spring, with a cast yet to be set. The film was originally set to hit theaters this summer.
