Wes Craven Calls '25/8' a 'Personal Project'    Share

January 26, 2009 Wes Craven's next movie is a horror film called "25/8", about a young man who discovers that he is the son of a serial killer who had unconsciously committed his crimes.

In a preview of 2009 horror films, the Los Angeles Times spoke to Craven, who said the film is a "personal project." "That just intrigued me," Craven said, "both the idea of doing things that you're not aware of -- which I think is a lot of the history of the United States, that hidden history -- and then just the inheritance of violence from one generation to the next, whether we're doomed to repeat it, how deeply are we implicated..."
