This may be shaping up to be one of the best horror moves of 2009. Just as Rob Zombie's "The Devil's Rejects" was a step up from "House of 1,000 Corpses," it sounds like "H2" will be a huge step up from "Halloween."

In December, Zombie told Fearnet.com that: "This sequel will be different than the first film, much like The Devil's Rejects was different from House of 1000 Corpses." Here's the latest on casting and crew.
Ezra Buzzington, whose scenes from the first film were cut, is back for the second. He'll be playing the beer deliver man, Ned Atkins, for The Rabbit in Red Club.
Tyler Bates, who recently composed soundtracks for "The Watchmen" and "Day the Earth Stood Still," is returning to compose the soundtrack for "H2."
Brandon Trost is taking on duties as director of photography. He was the man behind the camera for "Days of Darkness" and "Crank 2: High Voltage."
