Good News -- The 'Rosemary's Baby' Remake Is Stillborn    Share

December 22, 2008 There are simply some movies that must not be remade. Roman Polanski's "Rosemary's Baby" was slated for a redo from Platinum Dunes. Collider interviewed Dunes producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form who said the project has been aborted.

"We went down that road and we even talked to the best writers in town and it feels like it might not be do-able. We couldn’t’ come up with something where it felt like it was relevant and we could add something to it other than what it was so we’re now not going to be doing that film."

Meanwhile, they are still making remakes to "Nightmare on Elm Street" and "The Birds."
