November 7, 2008 The remake to George Romero's "The Crazies" is due to hit screens on Sept. 25, 209, according to Box Office Mojo.

Variety previously reported that Ray Wright is writing a new draft of "The Crazies" remake for Rogue Pictures. Breck Eisner (Sahara) is directing.
