'Freddy vs. Jason' Voted Best Horror Film of 2003

January 27, 2003 -- No big surprise here. Esplatter readers sent in their votes for the best horror film of 2003, and "Freddy vs. Jason" topped the pack. The survey asked readers to rank the Top 10 horror films of 2002. The top movie in their list (their pick as the No. 1 horror film of the year) was given 10 points. The second film on their list was given 9 points, and so on, until the 10th on the list received 1 point. Many readers cited "House of the Dead" as their pick for worst. Also, a couple of movies from 2002 made it into the Top 20, but heck, this is a democracy.
