David S. Goyer plans to make it a post-911 vision of Cronenberg's classic
With "Saw" filmmaker Darryn Bousman directing, the film is set to start shooting early next year. The film is being produced by Pierre David, rights holder of the original movie. The film came out of an idea for a TV series, which later became this remake project.
